From white-sand beaches and bottle trees to Dragon’s Blood Tree forests and pristine lagoons, Socotra is a world of remarkable natural diversity. With around one-third of its plant species found nowhere else on Earth, it is known as the “Galápagos of the Indian Ocean”. The Socotra Archipelago became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008.
