A resort set into the desert cliffs, pool at dusk

EXTENDED JOURNEY

The Red Sea Luxury Line

The same timeline, built around where you sleep. From Jeddah to Six Senses where the Red Sea meets the dunes, then to the flying-saucer villas of Shebara, on to Desert Rock set into the cliffs, and finally Banyan Tree AlUla. The landscape still runs coast, desert, canyon—only the rooms keep changing.

Departure
We gather in Jeddah on the day your Socotra journey ends, timed to the Socotra season (September to May; this season closes on 6 May 2027).

Day by day

Day 1

Jeddah · gathering day

We meet in Jeddah on the day your Socotra journey ends. Sunset on the waterfront by the floating mosque and the fountain, then an early night before heading north.

Stay Jeddah

Days 2–3

The Red Sea · Six Senses

North to the Red Sea development and into Six Senses. Dunes run right down to the water; the days can be spent on the sea, in it, or doing nothing at all. Deliberately slow—a landing after Socotra.

Stay Two nights

Days 4–5

Shebara · overwater villas

On to Shebara, where mirrored steel discs sit over the lagoon and the rooms stand above the water. Two days shaped by the sea: light on the water at either end of the day, stars overhead at night.

Stay Two nights

Desert Rock

Day 6

Desert Rock

Inland, towards AlUla, and into Desert Rock—a resort set into the cliff face, barely showing anything but the side that opens onto the canyon. Sunset between the rock walls.

Stay Desert Rock

Banyan Tree AlUla · Hegra

Day 7

Banyan Tree AlUla · Hegra

The last night at Banyan Tree AlUla. By day, the Nabataean tombs of Hegra and the mirrored Maraya hall; in the evening, the oasis and Elephant Rock.

Stay Banyan Tree AlUla

Day 8

Departure

Transfer to AlUla airport for the journey home—or onward to another journey.
